Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Messrs. Seun Ogunbambo and Habila Theck wanted.
The two are wanted in connection with a subsidy scam case where they are alleged to have defrauded the federal government in bogus oil subsidy claims wanted.
Mr. Seun Ogunbambo is the Managing Director of Fargo Petroleum and Gas limited while Mr. Habila Theck is the Operations Manager.
According to a statement by EFCC’s Acting Head, Media and Publicity, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, Ogunbambo and Theck are “wanted in connection with a case of conspiracy, forgery and obtaining the sum of Nine Hundred and Seventy Six Million, Six Hundred and Fifty Three Thousand, One Hundred and Ten Naira, Twenty Eight Kobo N976, 653,110.28 from the Petroleum Support Fund by false pretence.”
Both suspects have been standing trial before a Lagos state High court but shortly after being released on bail they disappeared forcing the court to issue a warrant for their arrest.
According to the statement by the anti graft agency, Mr. Ogunbambo s light in complexion speaks English and Yoruba, while Mr. Theck is fluent in English and Hausa languages.
While Mr. Ogunbambo’s last known address was 2 Olamiyuyan Crescent, Ikoyi, Lagos, Mr. Theck’s was 89 Buck Field, Yaba, Lagos.
EFCC therefore appealed that anybody having useful information that would lead to the arrest of the two should should contact the Commission in its Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt and Abuja offices or through any of the following numbers 09-4604620, 070-26350721,070-26350722,070-26350723,070-6350724, 070-26350725; or by e-mail to: info@efccnigeria.org or report to the nearest Police station
