Two Die As Trailer Crashes Into Building

At least two people were killed and another person seriously injured as a truck crashed into a building in Rivers state.

The incident occurred along Airport Road, Igwuruta, Rivers State on Tuesday Morning.
One of the dead was the driver of the trailer number plated RIVERS A 630 KNK and an occupant of the building he crashed into.



The truck, which was heading to Port-Harcourt from Owerri apparently lost control at Igwuruta and rammed into the building.

According to an o ccupant of the building, “I am a stylist.I was working with three colleagues when we heard a loud sound. We all fainted and regained consciousness to realize the building had collapsed on us from the impact. We survived but one neighbour was not so lucky”
