Focus On Your Set Goals, PBE Tells Uniabuja Students

Director General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), Mr. Benjamin Ezra Dikki has pledged the commitment of the Bureau to work with the University of Abuja Chapter of the Nigerian Universities Association of Management & Business Students (NUAMBS) to achieve its set goals and objectives.

Receiving the Executive Members of the Abuja Chapter of the Association, led by its President, Bello Adewale Toheeb, who paid him a courtesy visit, Dikki noted that the association shares similar vision with the Bureau.

The DG who was represented by the Head, Stakeholders Relations, Alhaji Aliyu Maigari, commended the EXCO members for the association’s planned library complex.

While congratulating them for emerging victorious at their last election, the DG announced that the Bureau would soon visit tertiary schools in the country as part of stakeholders’ engagements in the Federal Government’s Transformation Agenda.

“For the University of Abuja, we expect your Association to be the Bureau’s Ambassadors in the stakeholders’ relationship”, he added.

Earlier, President of the association, Bello Adewale Toheeb, had said that the visit was to inform the DG of his appointment as a patron of the association, introduce the new EXCO and solicit the Bureau’s assistance in some of the projects it intended to execute.

The projects include; Skill Acquisition Seminar, NUAMBS Souvenirs and Annual Journal and NUAMBS Secretariat Library project.

He said the Association decided to solicit the Bureau’s assistance in the execution of the projects because of the relationship both shared over the years and the Bureau’s leading role in Corporate Social Responsibility.
